Babysitting Co-op

Would you like to schedule a date out with your husband, an appointment, or shopping trip, and not have to bring the kids? What about having dependable, reliable babysitting, that's also FREE? Then the SECPTA Babysitting Co-op may be for you. It's a group of SECPTA members that exchange babysitting services for each other.

The Babysitting Co-op provides members with a babysitting option where no money is exchanged. Participation can begin once the person is a paid 2009—2010 SECPTA member, attends a Co-op meeting, and completes an Authorization Form. Monthly meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month and are hosted by Co-op members.

General Membership Meetings

Pen …take place on the fourth Tuesday of the month from August through May, except December.

Hospitality Time and Committee sign-ups (except for Field Trips) begin at 6:30 pm, the business meeting begins at 7:00 pm, and the scheduled program immediately follows. All meetings will adjourn by 9:00 pm.

Meetings take place at the Solon Community Center, 35000 Portz Parkway, Solon, Ohio.

My Gym will again be offering babysitting at the general meetings for children 1 year and older who are walking. The cost is $5.00. Please contact My Gym directly at (440) 914-9497 to reserve a spot before the meeting date – remember spaces are limited. Don't let an out-of-town spouse keep you from attending all of the awesome programs this year!
