T-Ball is a fun, non-competitive summer activity for children between the ages of 3‒5. Participants take home photos, a shirt, good sportsmanship, and basic T-Ball knowledge.

• WHO: Boys and girls age 3 (by 6/1/10) through age 5 are eligible for t-ball. Boys and girls who are not quite age 3 by 6/1/2010 (those who will turn 3 between 6/2/2010 and 12/31/2010) are eligible for wiffle ball.
• For the SAFETY of all children, birth dates will be strictly adhered to.
• Please note that you must be a SECPTA member to play. Membership forms are available online at www.solonearlychildhoodpta.com and membership runs from August 2009 ‒ August 2010.
• WHERE: Solon Recreation T-Ball Fields (map)
• WHEN: TUESDAY evenings, for six weeks beginning June 1st and running through July 6, 2010. Rain date will be July 13, 2010, if needed. All games begin at 6:30 p.m.
• WHY: To practice sharing, teamwork, skills of the game, rules of the game, and to have FUN!!!
• COST: $20 per child. This cost will cover t-shirts, equipment, and certificates.

The rules of the game will be followed, but here are just a few bullet points of main interest:

1. All games are for fun only. We do not keep score and everyone is a winner!
2. There are no practices, but please arrive a few minutes early to get settled.
3. Each team player bats twice and each team fields twice. (There is a one-hour limit).
